Note: OCLC membership is not required to purchase Dewey products.

WebDewey is the electronic version of the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) system. It is a full representation of all published numbers, plus other mappings and new terms that have been approved by the Dewey Editorial Policy Committee (EPC). It puts the power of the world’s most widely used library classification system in the hands of metadata managers to efficiently organize their collection(s).

  • Order WebDewey through the Nebraska Library Commission at the group rate. The group rate is only available to libraries purchasing a single authorization. Pricing information is on the order form.

The WebDewey Group subscription year runs from January 1 - December 31. Libraries may join the WebDewey Group at any time. Midyear subscriptions will be prorated. Orders must be received by the 15th of the month for a start date of the 1st of the following month, except for orders received after November 1, which will start on January 1.

Libraries needing more than a single authorization for WebDewey are not eligible for group pricing through the Nebraska Library Commission. Instead, they should order directly from OCLC.
